As most people involved in the Cybersecurity industry will confirm, there is a huge shortage of talent at the moment. From talking to people who are interested in getting into cybersecurity one of the common themes I’ve found is the lack of clarity as to where to begin their journey and what skills are required etc.

So I thought I would start a series of short ar.ticles that will act as bread crumbs to ultimately get those looking, on the right track. What I share here are only recommendations to build upon, they are not the holy grail. What they are is exactly what i said, bread crumbs. With that said, here is a quick self-education program for anyone interested in starting out as a SOC analyst.
